The Sainsbury Laboratory, Cambridge, has opened on schedule at the Cambridge University Botanic Garden. The new world-class plant research facility was inserted within the garden adjacent to a number of the original Henslowe trees. Design and mitigation advice provided by FLAC, as well as on-site arboricultural monitoring of sensitive operations, played a key role in minimizing arboricultural impact.
